Our artists benefit directly from licenses sold. We don’t do buyouts or ghost productions, and none of our music is generated by AI. This means you can be confident your license is authorized, and you can access high-quality art, not mass productions.
Acquiring a license in advance is essential to legally use the music – not only because it’s the law but also because artists should be fairly compensated for their work. Please note that the agreements social media platforms have with rightsholders only cover personal use, so a commercial license is required even if you only post your content on social media.
For most of the music on our platform, we license both the master and publishing rights as a one-stop shop. This allows us to grant licenses quickly. In some cases where we don’t represent all the rightsholders, we will ask the others for approval on your behalf.

💎 Premium Licenses
While all of our music is high-quality, some tracks are labeled as 💎 Premium. These premium tracks stand out not just for their exceptional production value but also for their popularity and recognition. They provide much higher value for your content, especially when used on social media platforms, as users will often know and relate to the music. Licensing premium music allows you to participate in trends, connect with your prospective customers, and ride the wave on social media platforms. Choosing a premium track means bringing a proven hit to your project, giving it an edge with music that’s already captured listeners’ hearts and attention.
Premium tracks typically meet one or more of the following criteria:
- They have been in the official charts of a country, music streaming service, or social media platform
- They are extraordinarily popular on UGC platforms
- They have a large number of streams on platforms such as Spotify
- They were performed by famous artists or written by reputable authors
As these tracks provide value that traditional production music cannot provide and licenses are significantly more expensive for us to acquire, uses of this music are billed according to the current market prices as researched by the German Music Publishers Association. The price will depend on factors such as the size of your company, the popularity of the music used, the number of views of your content, and how the music is used.
